  • Agreement to Terms: By accessing or using our Site and services, you (“User,” “Client,” “Caretaker”) agree to these Terms & Conditions (“T&Cs”), as well as our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you disagree with any part, please do not use the Site.
     

2. Definitions

  • User, Client, Care Recipient – individuals seeking care services.

  • Caregiver, Carer, Service Provider – qualified individuals or organisations delivering care.

  • Services – includes all care-related resources, information, and coordination facilitated via the Site.

  • Account – the online user profile created to access and manage service requests.
     

3. Eligibility & Usage

  • Users must be 18 years or older to register or engage services.

  • Services are intended for lawful, responsible use only.

  • Carers must hold any legally required qualifications or clearances (e.g., DBS checks in the UK).
     

4. Nature of Services & Platform Role

  • Your Care Plus acts as a provider of home care services, not as an intermediary platform.

  • We deliver care directly through our own or contracted caregivers, and we retain responsibility for service quality and compliance.

  • While we strive for the highest standards in care delivery, we do not provide medical advice unless explicitly qualified and stated as part of a care plan.
     

5. User Accounts

  • Clients and Caregivers agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information, keep login credentials secure, and notify us immediately of any breach or misuse.

  • We reserve the right to suspend or close any account at our discretion for non-compliance or misuse.
     

6. Payments & Fees

  • Details on fees, payment schedules, and billing processes should be clearly outlined.

  • Include refund and cancellation policies, particularly for cancellations by clients or us.

  • Set expectations for late payments, e.g., potential additional charges or suspension of services.
     

7. Care Standards & Responsibilities

  • Carers are expected to adhere to professional ethics, respect client privacy and dignity, and ensure safe, quality care.

  • Clients should provide a safe environment, necessary information (e.g. medical needs, allergies), and report any changes promptly.
     

8. Disclaimers & Limitations of Liability

  • We do not offer medical or legal advice unless explicitly stated.

  • Your Care Plus is not liable for losses or damages caused by carers' or clients' actions beyond our control.

  • Liability should be limited to the maximum extent permitted under UK law.
     

9. Emergency & Safety Protocol

  • In emergencies, users must contact emergency services directly—the Site is not an emergency response platform.

  • Encourage clients and carers to follow up-to-date health and safety guidance.
     

10. Intellectual Property

  • All content on the Site (text, logos, design) is owned by Your Care Plus unless otherwise stated.

  • Users grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use any content they submit (photos, testimonials) for the purpose of providing services and marketing.
     

11. Privacy & Data Protection
